914 - OFF TO DESCO

 

In the third part of our ongoing series covering the recent exchanging of locomotives between Caloocan and DESCO (Binan, Laguna), Railfan legend Mark Chua covers 914.

With 902 and 913 now back on the 'Philippine National Railway' system, it is now time for 914 and 916 (908) to get some TLC.

We recently reported on the return of rebuilt 902 to PNR.
Not long after, it was time for 913 to follow.

Both are now in Caloocan Workshops for the final stage of the rebuild.

Our roving reporter Mark Chua was at Binan (Laguna) to witness this historic event.
